What data we process and why
When you read the guides
You do not need an account to read the Help Center, and we do not ask you for any data. Like every website, the server and the network that protects it (Cloudflare) record, for technical and security reasons, the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the type of browser. We use this data only to run the site, protect it from abuse and fix faults; we do not use it to find out who you are, nor for advertising.
Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: the server's technical logs are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically.
When you tell us whether a guide was helpful
The “Was this helpful?” button adds a Yes or a No to the article's count. We do not store who voted.
When you write to support
With the “Write to support” form you send us: your first and last name, email, company (optional), the subject and the text of the message. We use them to answer your request and for the support that follows.
The message does not stay on the site: it is sent by email to the WuvDay mailbox of the subject you chose (support, invoices, account upgrade or commercial questions), and from there we reply to the address you entered.
Legal basis: your request and, if you are already a user, the performance of the contract with WuvDay (Art. 6(1)(b)
GDPR); the legitimate interest in providing support (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: for as long as needed to handle the request and, after that, for as long as legal obligations or the
protection of the controller's rights require.
To protect the form from spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that it is sent by a person and not by a program, by analysing technical signals from the browser.
Who receives the data
- Cloudflare, Inc. — content delivery network, protection of the site and anti-bot check (Turnstile). It may also process the data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Aruba S.p.A. — sending of the form's emails (Italy).
- The staff of MLR S.r.l. in charge of support.
The site is hosted on servers of MLR S.r.l. in Italy. We do not sell or hand over the data to anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest and receive it in a readable format (Arts. 15–21 GDPR), by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If this policy changes, you will find it on this page with the new date of last modification.
